Traffic Management Renewal Training
RIIWHS302E IMPLEMENT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLANS
Overview
There is no longer renewal training in this program and you’ll need to undertake the full course.
To continue to be recognised as a TMI Officer in Queensland you’ll be required to demonstrate ongoing industry currency relevant to the job role of a Traffic Management Implementer and complete the training program prior to the date of expiry of your license.
Online Modules
To undertake this training you need to complete the following two TMR online modules:
1. Working in Proximity to Traffic Part 1 – Awareness
2. Working in Proximity to Traffic Part 2 – Works Protection Methods
Both short courses are owned by TMR and can be found on their website. The programs replace the previous face-to-face training program – Level 1 Traffic Management Training and have been piloted with industry to ensure they meet current needs.
Requirements
You must provide the following on or before the day of training:
- Currency of industry practice
- The Supervisor Report in full (The Report template will be emailed to you on application)
- Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) that you have used as part of your traffic management plans
- Evidence of participation in a toolbox talk
- Evidence of meetings that you have participated in that cover topics such as workplace hazards and safe work practices
- SWMS Risk Management Plan (Safe Work Method Statement)
- Current Queensland TMR Traffic Management Implementation Card
